"I'm your peanut butter big-brother-to-be." This is a cute little book about a boy who is wondering what his new baby brother or sister will be like. He is bi-racial, a "blend from semisweet dark Daddy chocolate bar" and "strawberry cream Mama's milk." He ponders the possibilities. Will the baby be pure black coal, coffee with lots of cream, vanilla bean ice cream, or peanut butter...just like him? I love the way this book uses metaphors to describe all the different possibilities! A very cute book!
