My kids enjoyed this book mostly because we acted about the sounds and actions of the various animals. The boy on the cover of the book only appears there and on the first page. The caterpillar and the other animals debut for the remainder of the book.

This book is about a boy and the first ten days of winter. Each day brings a special gift that he uses to make the best snowman ever! My kids loved reading this book because it was set to the tune of the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas." We sang the book all the way through...twice!
