This is an easy reader book about a mystery in Sam and Amy Lou's classroom. Sam and Amy Lou are two classmates who do not get along. Amy Lou is always trying to help Sam and Sam does not want Amy Lou bugging him all the time. Upset with Amy Lou, Sam makes a less than nice valentine for her. This is a mystery about who gave Sam's valentine card (which was intended for Amy Lou) to the teacher.

My kids enjoyed this book. They thought it was quite humorous. However, I was sure to point out how mean Sam and Amy Lou were to each other. It tied in perfectly with our Bible verse, Proverbs 12:18, which says, "Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing."

This is a cute little book about the many "uh-oh's" that can take place through the course of a day for a toddler. I used it to reinforce the right thing to do. So, for each page the kids told me what the little boy should have done instead.

The baby girl in this book is just too cute! The book is about her and her day, which begins at 3:01 am with her mother saying, "Go back to bed baby, please, baby, please." You follow the little girl throughout her day as her parents correct her actions (not sharing a ball, writing on the wall, eating sand, teasing, splashing water in the tub, etc.) and follow with "please, baby, please." I used this book to help reinforce correct behavior. With each page we talked about what the little girl should have done.
