She emphatically announces that she "can do it too!" As she is encouraged and celebrated for the big things she can do, she is able to pass along the encouragement as she and her family celebrates their baby taking its first steps! Very cute little book!

An imaginative little boy uses his hand print, paint, and paper to make turkeys. He adds toothpicks, feathers, and sequins to decorate his turkeys. I love how the boy uses his imagination and creativity! The turkeys take on a life of their own when Foxy the fox shows up. Using paint and his imagination (of course), the boy saves the turkeys from the fox. My kids LOVED this book and so did I! I wish we would have read it around Thanksgiving. I would have been a cute to read the book and make turkeys from our hand prints, just like the boy!

This book is about Max (a little boy), Little Pink (a pig), and Big Blue (an elephant). Little Pink decides to paint the house to match the sky, but gets upset when Max and Big Blue attempt to help out. It begins to rain and all the paint washes away. Once the rain stops a rainbow appears and together they decide to paint the house to match the sky. This is a cute little book to read if you are learning about colors or rainbows.

This story is very bright and fun! It is a cute story that would go great with a unit on sea shells. Sarah's grandpa gives her a "magic" sea shell and tells her that if she listens closely she would be able to hear the sea. Well, Sarah goes through the entire week and hears all different kinds of sounds, but NOT the sea. Finally a week later, sitting quietly with her grandpa, she closes her eyes and is able to hear the sea. I think we will definitely use this book when we work on the character trait attentiveness!
